Melba toast with goat cheese, walnut, figs and apple syrup

These pieces of whole-wheat toast with fresh fig, goat cheese and apple syrup are perfect for when you have people over. They are fresh, crispy ánd juicy. This combination of textures is a true sensation in your mouth, and a guaranteed hit with your vegetarian friends.


Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and then roast the walnuts for five minutes in a hot oven. Let them cool down before you break them. In the meantime, slice the goat cheese and cut the figs in twelve pieces.

Spread the apple syrup on the whole-wheat toast and then divide the goat cheese, figs and walnut between the pieces. Enjoy!
